Part of the eight-PR OpenConceptLab/ocl_issues#2733 fleet. release_version.sh and set_build_version.sh here are byte-identical to the frontend variant I reviewed in detail on OpenConceptLab/oclweb3#41, so I'm not repeating the script findings -- please read that review; its two blockers (R1 hash in the release title, R2 first release note = whole repo history) apply to this PR too.
Repo-specific on this PR: release correctly declares needs: [build], so the release is only cut once the image exists. No further findings in this repo's build.yml beyond the shared script items.
